About Me
Nicole is a skilled storyteller with credits in both narrative and documentary projects. As a writer and director her work is characterised by humour and heart, seeking humanity and connection in her body of work.
She directed the feature documentary This Is Port Adelaide for 57 Films, which played in cinemas across Australia from April 2021 before moving to streaming on STAN. At 57 Films, she also directed the SAFC-supported short documentary Deafinition, which aired on SBS’s Short Film Festival before playing at festivals around the world and streaming on AMC+ in 2024. Nicole has worked on numerous television specials including The Inaugurals (57 Films - Channel 7, Fox Footy) in 2022 and My Underwater World with Richard Harris (2024). She was a creative producer on S2 of Chef Exchange starring Jock Zonfrillo, which screened across QTV in China, Discovery South East Asia and SBS Food.
Her narrative short films have been selected to play at multiple film festivals, including her comedy short Get a Life playing at Flickerfest in 2022.
She began her career in branded content and has worked on various television productions. Her extensive on set experience informs her practice as a director.
